    The Organ have split? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Katie Stretch to go solo then, I reckon. As befits the lead singer of a band called The Organ, she has great pipes.

Did you ever see them? I caught a couple of songs at Truck last year and they were really good, also notable for Katie's grubby T-shirt (I'm not sure I've ever seen a less glamorous female singer, which of course adds to the appeal) and Debora Cohen spending the whole time staring listlessly at the back of the tent. I'm not sure she blinked once.

See 'em? Yup, and even got round to blogging about it - here and sadly there's evena bit of prediction in there about their ultimate commercial fate.
