Yeah, it's one of those guitar and drum duos, but this is a special one of those, as none of the others are made up of Alexei and Junior off of that Johnny Foreigner band. No Tribes EP, out on download and very limited edition physical as of midnight Friday, might well be no less full-on with the power of riffs'n'drums'n'grubby rehearsal room righteousness but isn't just JoFo without Kelly - it's somehow more dishevelled, more compact, more drowning in lo-fi fuzz and with the ever present fun of making yourself heard for scuzzy indie rock.
