We thought after their fractured album of four years ago the trio had dissipated (not least with Rachel Aggs's membership of Shopping), but clearly not given they have a second record, Confidence, out on 1st December. That this track lasts nearly four minutes is pretty much new territory both otherwise its post-Slits/Raincoats sense of scrappy jitteriness is retained, builds up a post-punky head of steam and then lets it stutter, overlap and generally rush and spin itself into a confused state, the horns courtesy of Electrelane's Verity Susman that see out this track laying bare the free jazz influence.
