Yeah, why don't we change your name to Sweeping The Pagan Wanderer Lu, eh?
Well, here's one more piece of news from him. Back in November 2007 we spread the news that he was curating a compilation album of songs about giant isopods. As he puts it, "what originally excited me about putting something like this together was how the hell anyone would react to writing about something so esoteric as what is, essentially, a huge underwater woodlouse." Well, while the CD itself never came off, sixteen months on all the tracks are together and he's made all those intended for it freely available. PWL himself is on it, as are Paul Hawkins (of ...And Thee Awkward Silences), ukelele maestro Jam On Bread, member sharing Cardiff indiepop types Silence At Sea (a song which features a storyline involving former Gladiators champion Eunice Huthart) and Little My, London noisenik trio Pocus Whiteface and some other people, including a Discourse 2000 contributor and a fellow The Line Of Best Fit scribe in part disguised circumstances. It's some range for what is, after all, a set of lo-fi songs about a type of crustacean.
