Having spent the year backing Stanley Brinks it's been confirmed we're going to get through 2014 without a Wave Pictures release of their own, but no matter as there's already one confirmed for 16th February 2015. Excitingly, Great Big Flamingo Burning Moon is a collaboration with Billy Childish, recorded at his studio and several tracks, including this, featuring his co-writing and secondary guitar stamp. The blues harmonica of studio engineer Jim Riley alongside the huge cyclical riff gives it a link to the Medway blues Dr Feelgood took into the pubs, but the lyrical turns of phrase and athletic solo could only be David Tattersall's own.
