Vote early, vote often (well, once)

OneMusic's not doing one this year and Colin Murray's show organising such would require some imagination on their part, so the Memory Of Peel-flavoured Dandelion Radio is organising its own Festive 50. We hope whoever runs the station is also keeping up tradition by logging all the votes longhand in an old ledger and tutting at the lack of votes for non-guitar based music.

... in a ledger ... no we haven't kept up that tradition.

We've gone digital. The votes are collected and processed semi-automatically.
We do check them all though - and have sent a couple of notes out to people who we think have made a mistake ;)

Also - I'm on a quest to get some last.fm users to join up to a new group that I created yesterday.
Once we get to 15 then the recommendations that it comes up with should good.
I expect that everyone who would sign up is already a member of the John Peel group there - but no harm in being in a few.

Will you accept a compromise? I'm running the digital ledger. Yes, I remember Uncle John depicting himself as on old Dickensian clerk, scratching his entries into his festive 50 ledger. To make up for this, I'm already tutting very loudly at the lack of votes for non-guitar based music.
